The Sir John Brunner Foundation, a Multi-Academy Trust, seeks to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Director of Estates. Leading on all matters relating to the estates and facilities of our Academies, you will be a trusted, reliable and credible member of the Chief Executive Group. The Sir John Brunner Foundation is at an exciting time in its development, having secured funds to enhance the buildings and premises at two of our Academies. You will support with strategic plans on building development and oversee the delivery of a number of exciting capital projects. 

Through high performing site teams, you will oversee the care, upkeep and maintenance of all our sites overseeing the highest standards of service delivery. You will also lead on the key portfolios of Health & Safety and Sustainability. The Sir John Brunner Foundation comprises of two High Schools and a Sixth Form College, which educates almost 3,500 children and employs c.400 professionals. Each academy within the Foundation operates at the heart of its local community. Set in central Cheshire, the Foundation’s offices are based in Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College which is set in beautiful grounds; the County High School, Leftwich and Middlewich High School are within easy reach.

The County High School Leftwich is a fully inclusive, co-educational, 11-16 school with approximately 1000 students, 60 teaching and 60 support staff. The school serves a mixed catchment area with a Published Admission Number of 196, though we are now significantly over-subscribed.

In 2019, students achieved a Progress 8 Score of +0.80. In 2020 students achieved progress in line with previous years. In 2017, the school was awarded a National Pupil Premium Award by the DfE, further demonstrating our commitment to ensuring all students achieve their academic potential.
