Trent is a successful, selective day and boarding school in which every pupil is given the individual care and guidance which enables them to flourish at school and in later life. Based at the Senior School, the scope of the role encompasses both the Senior School (Trent College; Year 7 to Year 13) and the Junior School (The Elms; nursery to Year 6).

Reporting directly to the Head of Trent College, you will play an important role in helping to formulate and carry out the school’s strategic aims in admissions and marketing activity. The Director of External Relations will lead members of the External Relations Department which includes Admissions and Marketing and also encompasses the Development and Alumni Relations Office. 

The department benefits from recently centralised and refurbished offices in the heart of the school.

The successful candidate will have experience of developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans at a senior level, a demonstrable understanding of the principles of admissions, marketing and communications, and experience of managing within these areas.
