We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and exceptional Director of Faculty to join a college that is committed to transforming the lives of young people across our region. The key role of a Director of Faculty is the development of highly effective and committed Subject Leaders who have the skills, abilities and direction required to undertake their roles effectively. Through this, a Director of Faculty will continually drive improvement in order to achieve the vision of the college and uphold the core values.

The ideal applicant will be:

• A teacher with a good understanding of the AQA Sociology curriculum
• Knowledge of strategies that promote a positive climate for learning in subjects with differing demands.
• A passion for education and for making a difference to disadvantaged students.
• Able to assess college-based assessments accurately and identify strategies for improvement in your subject and subjects beyond your teaching specialism
