Director of Finance and Business

The Alumnis Multi-Academy Trust aims to provide first class education and care that allows every child to reach their potential. The Trust currently has seven schools. They are all village primaries in rural Devon, ranging in size from 29 to 210 pupils. 

As they enter a phase of growth, change and opportunity, they are seeking to appoint a Director of Finance and Business to work closely and be part of the Executive Team. They are looking for an agile and skilled decision maker who can lead and execute a clear strategy for the Trust’s future growth and sustainability. The Director of Finance and Business will have the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders whilst motivating teamwork, collaboration, and productive working relationships.

The Director of Finance and Business will serve as the Chief Financial Officer for the Trust across multiple sites and will hold a relevant accountancy qualification. As well as sound financial management and budgeting skills, this role requires someone who has knowledge of H&S Regulations, Project management techniques and development of and access to school business and facilities management.
