This is a rare opportunity for an outstanding and dynamic individual to take up a key position within the Senior Leadership Team at Durham High School.
Durham High School is a leading all-through independent girls' school with 370 pupils, operating in the Anglican tradition and taking seriously its role as a Christian school which welcomes girls of all faiths and none. The School is based on a single site in the beautiful and historic city of Durham.
The Director of Finance and Business will report, and be responsible directly, to the Headmistress of the School, Mrs Simone Niblock.
Candidates should have exceptional financial and commercial capabilities, excellent interpersonal skills and the flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances. The role requires an individual capable of thinking strategically and also being hands-on.
