Following the retirement of the current post holder Clayesmore School is looking to appoint a new Director of Finance and Operations.
The Director of Finance and Operations is a senior position with overall responsibility for the management and leadership of all Finance, Support Services, Enterprise, Health & Safety and Compliance. He/she will be accountable to the Head and Chair of the Governors for the proper exercise of financial, contractual and compliance related delegated responsibilities and authorities. He/she will play a central role in the Strategic Development of the School and as Clerk to the Governors will have direct access to the Chairman of Governors on matters of serious concern or relating to the financial welfare and reputation of the School.
This is an exciting time to join Clayesmore School: Mrs Jo Thomson became Head of the School in September 2016 with an ambitious vision for the future; as such, the successful candidate should expect to play a leading part in the School’s development as part of a high calibre Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
