This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and influential Director of Finance & Operations to lead on all aspects of finance and operational input. 

Governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and experienced individual who will provide high quality leadership and management of the school’s finance and operational functions whilst bringing an enterprising approach to business development, strategy and partnerships.

This key post requires a strategic, professional partner who can demonstrate theoretical, practical and procedural knowledge across all disciplines of budget setting, financial management, administration, personnel and premises. 

The successful candidate will ideally have accounting experience gained in working in a similar senior role within education, be self-motivated, highly committed, flexible, enthusiastic, patient and innovative with first class communication skills both verbal and written. 

In return, you will hold a pivotal role as part of a highly successful, collaborative, growing Academy who puts the needs of its pupils first.

Welland Park Academy is a good 11-16 school in Market Harborough.  We provide outstanding education for over 900 students aged 11 – 16 and wider learning opportunities for adults and young people through our Community College programme.
