This is an opportunity for an exceptional leader and innovator to play a pivotal role in the financial and operational management and strategic development of one of London’s top day schools. 

The Director of Finance and Operations will be responsible for providing financial stability and operational excellence across a number of key areas, such as Finance, Human Resources, Estates Management, Health and Safety and Business Development. They will take a proactive approach to identifying issues and deliver results and change initiatives to achieve added value and improve performance in business and operational aspects, whilst ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and ethical requirements.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Finance and Operations is also a key contributor to and driver of the overall strategy of the school and will work closely with the Head in shaping the vision and direction of the school.

The successful candidate will offer first class interpersonal and leadership skills in order to develop productive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and build and lead effective and productive teams. The ability to analyse information to support sound decision making in the delivery of projects, school processes and service improvements is equally important.
