Sir William Perkins’s School is seeking an exceptional Director of Finance and Operations to join us at this exciting time in our history. As we approach our tricentenary year in 2025, we are developing our strategy for the future, and this role will be instrumental in the delivery of our ambitious aims.

Working under the direction of the Head, you will oversee the day-to-day financial and operational functions of the School. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will play a key role in the strategic development of the School and must be competent in developing and implementing effective strategies which align with the School strategy. You will work collaboratively with the Governors, SLT and Extended Leadership Team to help ensure the long-term success of the School.

Serving as a key liaison between the School and external stakeholders such as investors, auditors and regulatory bodies, you must be a highly organised, strategic thinker with first-rate analytical and leadership skills, with a blend of operational acumen and proven project management skills. Proven financial management and strong leadership will be essential although a formal accounting qualification is not a pre-requisite.

Easily reached by road or public transport, we are a two-minute walk from Chertsey Train Station, with direct links to London Waterloo and surrounding towns.
