Tes are working on behalf of a high-performing, market-leading international school that are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Director of Global Citizenship on a full-time fixed-term basis from August 2022. This role is not suitable for NQTs.
This role will direct and shape the student experience in the area of Global Citizenship that encompasses, but is not limited to, sustainability, service and global citizenship. The role will provide students, teachers and staff access to world class learning opportunities via curriculum design, enrichment and global networks in the area of Global Citizenship. The person appointed to this role will work closely with both the school and local community (parent, schools, NGO's, outreach groups) to provide opportunities for developing global citizenship attributes with students and raising awareness and the connectedness of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Successful Candidate:
- A degree in Global Citizenship or equivalent
- A PGCE or equivalent in a related subject
- At least 2 years' experience teaching
