Epsom College in Malaysia seeks to appoint a Director of Enrichment Programs.

Epsom College in Malaysia is the only sister school of Epsom College, the United Kingdom's 'Independent School of the Year' in 2022 and one of the UK's top co-educational boarding schools as voted by The Telegraph and The Times. Located on an 80-acre private campus with world-class facilities, just 45 minutes outside of Kuala Lumpur and 15 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Epsom provides an authentic British boarding school experience - an on-campus community feel, engagement with academic staff in a pastoral setting and a distraction-free academic environment - to its Day, Weekday and Full-boarding students. Through partnerships with the world-renowned Mouratoglou Academy for tennis and La Liga for football, we are the only international school in Asia offering a curriculum integrating academic excellence with high-performance sports. The school's state-of-the-art facilities, dedicated staff, and diverse student community make it a top choice for families seeking a first-class education. Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, or in the arts, Epsom College Malaysia aims to inspire students to unlock their full potential and become global citizens who positively impact the world. Parents have discovered the benefits of space, time, safety, adventure, and all-around success for their children at Epsom, knowing that all their needs will be catered to.

5. Student Engagement: Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes student engagement, participation, and personal growth.

6. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to monitor program effectiveness, gather feedback, and implement necessary improvements.

7. Financial Management: Develop and manage program budgets, monitor expenses, and explore opportunities for revenue generation and cost optimisation.

8. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with students, parents, school administration, and external partners to ensure alignment of program objectives and expectations.

9. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements, implementing protocols to mitigate risks and ensure the well-being of participants.

10. Community Outreach: Collaborate with local organisations, businesses, and educational institutions to enhance program offerings and establish partnerships that benefit the school and its students.

Qualifications:

- An internationally recognised Bachelor's degree

- Prior experience in program development and management, preferably in an educational or camp setting.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of educational principles, experiential learning methodologies, and best practices in youth development.

- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.

The medium of teaching throughout is English. The Senior School, with a small Prep School on site for day pupils 3 - 10 years old, opened in September 2014. Our Prep School lessons run Monday to Friday, and Senior School lessons are Monday to Saturday lunchtime. Our boarding programme runs 7 days per week.

In addition to full boarding, weekly boarding from Year 7, which was pioneered by Epsom College in the UK, is an option. This is popular with parents who want a British boarding lifestyle for their children without having to travel long distances.

The impressive campus, being developed on a green-field site, comprises ultra-modern hi-tech, environmentally-friendly buildings, with specialised facilities for teaching and learning, boarding, music, drama, art/DT and sport. The whole campus supports a wi-fi network to maximise access to the internet for learning and independent research.
