Waverley Education Foundation (WEF) is a Multi Academy Trust, which operates both Waverley School and Waverley Studio College. It develops, brokers and delivers a range of services which support learning and leadership & management and improve outcomes for children and young people.

This is an exciting time to join WEF. We continue to be over-subscribed and popular with the local community. We have state of the art facilities for learning, teaching and training and a strong staff team that are committed to the learning and development of all our students. 

Responsible to: The CEO

• To ensure that the schools vision, values and mission are upheld 

• To work with the CEO in determining general Trust policy and ensuring its implementation. 

• To assist the CEO, and be responsible for (a variety of roles). 

• To ensure all student’s and staff are safeguarded. 

• Ensure that effective running fo school information systems and all student’s achieve the highest possible standards in their education and well being 


Duties: 

The School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document (Part XI) specifies the general professional duties of all teachers. In addition, certain particular duties are reasonably required to be exercised and completed in a satisfactory manner.

Waverley School is a co-educational, all-through school located in Birmingham, West Midlands. It has around 1800 pupils across its primary, secondary and sixth-form departments. The school is part of the Waverley Education Foundation, a multi-academy trust that also operates the local Waverley Studio College.

Waverley School became an all-through school in 2012 and moved to a new site in 2013. It is proud of its diverse student intake.


Values and vision

Waverley School values learning through diversity. Tolerance and acceptance play a huge part in its ethos, with students encouraged to show respect for other faiths and belief systems. The social development of pupils is considered to be of paramount importance to best prepare them for adulthood.
