From 1 August 2017, Central Sussex College changed its name to Crawley College. It merged with Chichester College as part of a group structure.  

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year 

Chichester College Group is a highly successful general Further Education College based on four campuses at Chichester, Brinsbury, Crawley and Horsham. We are looking to appoint a Director of International to lead the development and implementation of our international strategy and operations. Chichester College has an excellent and longstanding reputation for our international activity and holds the UKVI’s highly trusted sponsor status. 

The College is committed to continuing to develop its international activity both in terms of student recruitment and transnational delivery.  This post will take the lead and be responsible for developing and implementing an international business plan that achieves targets for growth in income and profit. 

As the Director of International, you will be responsible for leading: 

- International teaching and learning – including English as a Foreign  Language (EFL).  - Accommodation and pastoral care for international students – including two Halls of Residence and host families. 

- International business development - including sales and marketing.  

You will be a member of the College’s Management Team and an UKVI Authorising Officer. You will also work across the College Group to seek new opportunities for growth – including at Crawley College and with Anglia Examinations (a subsidiary of the Group).  

You will have a proven track record of writing and implementing international strategies. You should also have significant experience of successful management of international operations within a Further/Higher Education institution or Private Language School. You will need to have the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a large team, and to travel overseas.

Chichester College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, general further education college situated in West Sussex. It is a 16-plus institution with two main sites in Chichester and Pulborough, plus further outreach centres in Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and Worthing. It has links to local employers, most of a small to medium size. 

Chichester College of Arts, Science and Technology, as it was formerly known, opened in 1964. Chichester College has been offering work-based training since 1996. It has approximately 10,897 part-time learners and 3,732 full-time students.
