Job overview

This new post presents an exciting opportunity to join our highly academic and successful independent day school for girls at a time when it is reviewing the potential for IT to play a greater role in its educational culture providing benefits to staff and a richer curriculum for students.   

Responsible to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of an innovative IT strategy. She/he will have significant hands-on IT experience and be able to demonstrate evidence of successful project management, working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. Strong team management skills together with analytical and problem solving skills, excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written are required. Experience of working in the charity sector and/or an independent school is desirable.

About North London Collegiate School

North London Collegiate School is an independent all-through day school for girls, based in Edgware. Its motto translates from Latin as "in the hope of labour". There are 1,065 aged 4-18 on the school roll.

The school was founded by Frances Mary Buss at the family home in Camden in 1850. The current site was acquired in 1929, and the school was fully relocated in 1940. The main site is a country house built in the eighteenth century. Since 2011, North London Collegiate School has had a franchise school in South Korea.
