The Director of Learning and Curriculum is a member of the College leadership team and is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for learning design, pedagogical approaches, curriculum implementation, assessment and reporting. The Director of Learning and Curriculum leads the Learning and Curriculum Group, which comprises the Heads of Academic Departments.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational leader, with recognised management skills and a high level of digital literacy. The appointee will display excellent interpersonal and relationship management attributes with well-developed team building skills. Presenting with strong academic credentials and qualifications the successful candidate will be passionately committed to best practice pedagogy.

This position will also include a teaching load of approximately 0.2. This position has 6 weeks leave per annum.

MLC structure comprises four learning communities or schools where learning and personal development programs have been tailored to meet the unique needs of each age and stage of students' growth. Junior School (MLC Kindle – Year 6), Junior Secondary School (Years 7 and 8), Middle School (Years 9 and 10) and Senior School (Years 11 and 12). Our Years 7 to 12 teachers work across at least two schools.
