We are a STEM Centre of Excellence and Leadership Development School with a total commitment to professional development which was acknowledged by our Investors in People Gold accreditation and Champion status. We are a Teaching School and National Support School and have worked in collaboration with over 50 schools locally and nationally and pride ourselves on our successful school to school support. As part of the Priority Schools Building Programme The Heath will soon be in a brand new building.

We are looking for an outstanding practitioner with a flair for Leadership and Innovation. You will be creative and capable of further developing the best practice in teaching and learning, together with the personal and organizational ability to provide inspirational leadership to the Science team. A real commitment to maximizing the achievement of all students through the evaluation of data to decide upon the appropriate curriculum provision is essential in order to make outstanding progress.

This is a challenging role and is about continuing transformation which will:

• Look at developing next practice, harnessing the latest technologies and pedagogy to inspire staff and students alike in transforming learning experiences for all;

• Lead in curriculum design and teaching and learning strategies that will enable every teacher to be truly outstanding.

The Heath School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school in Cheshire serving students from the age of 11-16. The secondary school, situated in Runcorn has approximately 1201 students on record. It is part of The Heath Family (NW) Multi-Academy Trust.
