About us and the role

We are seeking to appoint a Director of Learning and Teaching to lead on critical work across our network of schools as a part of our mission to ensure that all of our pupils receive excellent learning and teaching, in every school, in every classroom, every day. This role will help us to further enhance our teacher development programmes and enable teachers to have the greatest possible impact on the classroom.

Avanti is a certified Learning Partner with the Chartered College of Teaching and from September 2022 we will be a provider for the Chartered Teacher programme.

This role is for you if:

  • You are a recognised expert in teacher development.
  • You have a track record of designing and implementing highly effective programmes of teacher  development.
  • You are keen to work for an ambitious, forward thinking and inclusive MAT.
