Required for April 2020, a well-qualified, experienced teacher of English to lead and manage a successful and supportive Communications faculty of well qualified staff. This post offers an ideal opportunity for an experienced leader to develop professionally and to contribute to future whole school improvement. The post would suit an ambitious, well qualified teacher and leader of English seeking a stimulating, supportive working environment. The teacher appointed will be an excellent leader and practitioner, able to engage and challenge students to enable them to achieve their best and support and lead the Communications faculty, leading on all aspects in English, French and Spanish in Key Stage 3 and 4. You will ensure that the highest possible standards in the faculty are met and that all pupils reach their full potential. The successful candidate must be able to: establish good relationships with students to inspire learning; promote interest in the subjects and ensure high achievement; be able to work well with colleagues in the department and across the school; have commitment and initiative and a ‘can do’ approach, willing to make a contribution to the life of the school and to ensuring that all our students achieve the best possible outcomes. Applicants must be outstanding and motivated teachers with the drive to deliver results at KS4.
