DIRECTOR OF LEARNING (HEAD OF YEAR)

Central Foundation is located on the Old Street Silicon Roundabout and at the heart of the Tech City, which offers a range of amazing opportunities for our students. We are seeking to appoint Director of Learning to join our pastoral team. The successful candidate will look after one Year group as the students progress through the years. The successful candidate will join our extended pastoral leadership team.

Directors of Learning are responsible for the pastoral and academic overview of their Year group, including responsibility for the students’ learning experience, their progression across this learning experience, their learning behaviour, their development as individuals in terms of their character and attributes, their attendance, punctuality and other aspects of their welfare.

Located on the Old Street Silicon Roundabout and at the heart of the Tech City, the School is a high performing comprehensive and one of the top performing non-selective, all boys school in the country. The students’ outcomes have been consistently outstanding both at KS4 and KS5. In 2023, the P8 for Year 11 cohort was 0.55.

We offer a broad curriculum with a focus on academic subjects as well as vocational education. Our extra-curricular provision supports the student experience in classroom.
