Are you an organized, motivated and engaging Leader in Humanities (with a History specialism)?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, determined and creative individual to lead our supportive and experienced Humanities team. We pride ourselves on being an approachable, dedicated team and a popular option choice with students at KS4 and 5. We are committed to student learning and the sharing of ideas, good practice and innovative resources. Well-resourced faculty with a faculty computer room and a bespoke office area, with your own classroom on the faculty floor. We have a very vibrant Post 16 provision, with a range of different courses being offered under the Humanities umbrella.

We are looking for a leader and someone to teach History across all Key Stages, who can deliver outstanding engaging lessons, providing students with the feedback they need to improve.

The Cavendish School is an all ability community comprehensive school. We have a strong commitment to staff training and learning with a quality induction programme for all staff. Well-resourced with digital projectors in all teaching rooms, with the added advantage of a laptop for all staff. We have a collaborative, welcoming and cohesive staff body.
