Wildern Secondary School is a large secondary school in Hedge End, Southampton and we are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, creative Director of Learning - Science to join our Science Department. We are part of the Wildern Academy Trust which comprises of Wildern School, Deer Park Secondary School and Boorley Park Primary School.

  • 3 year KS4 that follows the AQA exam, where students either study Separate or Combined Science

  • A thoroughly planned and resourced curriculum across all year groups which builds a coherent and robust ‘5 year journey’ across the time students spend with us here at Wildern.
  • The department runs a huge range of enrichment opportunities for students which you can get involved in, including; Legoland, Kew Gardens and even a trip to Belgium Euro Space Centre.
  • Opportunities to shape and contribute to our curriculum which we evaluate and reflect on continually as a team.
