Headington School is a highly successful, vibrant and welcoming day and boarding School set in a stunning 23-acre site just a mile from Oxford city centre. Educating some 1,060 girls aged 3-18, Headington offers girls a wealth of academic and co-curricular choice and its results regularly place among the highest-performing schools in the country. Academically selective, the School is consistently oversubscribed, and the Senior School is set to be at record numbers in September 2023.

 

The Headmistress is seeking to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking Director of Marketing and Admissions to lead and shape Headington’s marketing and admissions strategies and play an integral role in implementing the School’s development plan.

 

Reporting to the Headmistress and leading a team of eight marketing and admissions professionals, the postholder will ensure that the School continues to attract high calibre Headington girls and will demonstrate the agility and strategic skills to respond to future challenges and opportunities across the independent school sector.

 

The successful applicant will be a strategic and experienced marketing or admissions professional, with extensive stakeholder management and influencing skills gained inside or outside the education sector. Enthusiasm, creativity and a proactive approach are fundamental to this role.

Headington is a leading day and boarding school for girls aged 3-18, set in a green 23-acre site located a mile from Oxford city centre.

While academically selective, girls are selected on potential and many achieve far beyond their predictions on entry. Headington’s results regularly place it among the top schools in the country at GCSE and A Level.
