Director of Music

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic musician.  The successful candidate will be a confident pianist and singer with good sight-singing and aural skills.  The post would suit a recent music graduate, ideally with some teaching or coaching experience.  

Trevor-Roberts School is a small, high-achieving prep school in North London with a thriving music department.  Music plays a central role in the life of the school with each class putting on a musical production twice each year.  We currently have three choirs, an orchestra, and numerous smaller instrumental groups.  Our Senior Choir and Chamber Choir have performed in prestigious venues such as St John’s, Smith Square and for the Coram Christmas celebrations at St Andrew’s, Holborn.  In recent years, a number of our children have been awarded music scholarships at top senior schools including Westminster, UCS and South Hampstead High School. 

The position is full time with a start date of September 2021, but there may be some flexibility for the right candidate.
