Would you like to work at a school that has a prestigious past, a wonderful present and a bright future? Would you like to work in a well-established school, proudly rated Good by Ofsted in September 2018?  If so, we would like to hear from you.

We are excited to be recruiting a new Director of Music for September 2022 who has the vision and ambition to take our thriving music department to the next level.

At Enfield Grammar School, every day is seen as an opportunity to inspire and provide guidance and musical education for the young people we serve. From our instrumental teachers to our senior leadership team, music is well supported and well celebrated both inside and outside of school life.

We host a great number of concerts every year including Christmas Concert, Key Stage 3 Concert, Battle of the Bands, Jazz Evening and a Summer Soirée, with our students also performing at many functions in school-time such as Prize Giving, Parents’ Evenings and assemblies.

The music department is supported by a team of peripatetic teachers who coach our many bands and offer individual lessons to students on a wide range of instruments enabling our students achieve excellent results in ABRSM and other instrumental exams.

At Enfield Grammar School, our aim is to prepare our boys for the world, both academically and socially. We expect hard work, good manners and in turn provide learning opportunities where all can fulfil their potential.  Our motto, “Tant Que Je Puis” (As Much As I Can) is at the heart of our School community and we actively encourage both staff and students to strive for this aspiration.  If you share our vision, we would strongly encourage you to apply.
