Contract:  Full time, Permanent

St Neot's Prep is seeking to recruit a Director of Music.

The Director of Music at St Neot’s will be the drive, energy and inspiration for the development and promotion of music across St Neot’s school from Nursery to Year 8.

You will inspire the whole St Neot’s community so that pupils enjoy participating in music making and are given the opportunities to develop their creative talents in a positive, innovative and effective working environment.

You will plan and prepare a diverse programme of concerts and musical events both formal and informal each year to challenge and display the work of choirs, orchestras, bands, chamber groups and other ensembles.

You will involve organising opportunities for St Neot’s parents to be involved in the musical life of the school through parent choirs and the like.

As part of your role you will contribute to the pastoral life of the school as a form tutor.
