About Role

Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong seeks to appoint a dynamic, creative and inspirational professional to become our next Director of Music. The successful candidate should have exceptional credentials as a musician, proven experience in building successful relationships with staff and parents, and be able to challenge, motivate and empower others. Our aim is to foster a culture of inclusivity and ‘music for all’ whilst also challenging our most gifted musicians.

Our School

Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong is a high-performing, market-leading international school in one of the most vibrant cities in the world. We were the first of the Dulwich College International family of schools opening our doors in 2003. Since then we have grown to become the school of choice in the city.

The College is academically selective with an ever-increasing roll which currently stands at over 1,669 students. Post-holder Qualifications, Experience


A BA or MA degree in Music or equivalent

A PGCE or equivalent in a related subject

At least 2 years’ experience teaching music

IGCSE and/or IBDP experience is desirable
