St Andrew’s Senior School is seeking to appoint a Director of Music. The job is suited to a passionate and talented musician who combines exceptional leadership skills with significant experience for developing music both within the curriculum and through an extensive co-curricular programme of concerts and performance. The person will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of musical excellence including developing and improving the quality of academic music teaching. This is a high profile and demanding position and the successful applicant will be key figure in shaping the reputation and delivery of musical excellence in the Senior School and in ensuring continuity of music provision across the whole School.

St Andrew’s School - Background
St Andrew’s School Turi is highly respected in Kenya and regarded as one of the leading international schools in East Africa. Numbering approximately 570 pupils, it has two semi-autonomous schools: a Preparatory School of 240 pupils between the ages of 3 and 13 and a Senior School of 330 pupils between the ages of 13 and 18. It is coeducational and the great majority of pupils are boarders.
