Required for September 2018 (or Summer Term if possible), a talented musician with the energy, experience and vision to lead our flourishing and well-resourced Music Department. The Department enjoys excellent academic results and provides an abundance and variety of musical opportunity with jazz, rock, swing, blues and classical ensembles constantly evolving.
This is a unique opportunity for an individual to work with talented pupils and dedicated staff in a department, which has an outstanding reputation for its Music, both locally and nationally. The post holder will also take a leading role and active part in the school’s choirs, orchestra and school productions. A contribution to the wider life of this busy day school would also be an advantage.
The position is full time and permanent. Salary is MPS/UPS + a generous Management & Responsibility Allowance + a Wakefield Supplement. The Teachers’ Pension Scheme is also applicable.
