Job overview

Reporting to the Executive Director and working in collaboration with the Principals, the Director of Pedagogy will be responsible to provide pedagogical leadership for K-12 curriculum across the EtonHouse Group. 

Job Role & Responsibilities

  • To establish, maintain and enhance EtonHouse’s K-12 in order to achieve strong educational outcomes that reflect current and best practices.
  • To achieve alignment of curriculum across EtonHouse schools
  • To develop and maintain pedagogical policies and practices to ensure that it is of high quality, stays relevant and up to date
  • To ensure that curriculum documentation for all learning areas is of a high standard and easily accessible
  • To design and facilitate the delivery of high quality professional development seminars, workshop, trainings and conferences for the EtonHouse group and the wider educational community of both within and outside Singapore
  • To facilitate regular and well-structured meetings with teachers to ensure professional dialogue around children’s learning, professional practice and curriculum quality
  • To lead, develop and oversee research projects that can enhance the EtonHouse curriculum and can be shared both locally and internationally
  • To critically review and share research on best practice in teaching and learning with teachers for their professional development
  • To provide leadership and mentorship to the pedagogy team to ensure that the team contributes positively to the successful delivery of pedagogical outcomes
  • To support the Brand and Marketing department by writing, developing and reviewing content for EtonHouse’s promotional materials, press releases and articles on the various social media platforms
  • To support and work closely with the Business Development Department in setting up EtonHouse schools both locally and overseas


Who are we looking for:

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education from a reputable University
  • Experience in IB PYP, MYP, IGSCE and IBDP preferred
  • 10-15 years of experience in the education with at least 3-5 years in a pedagogical leadership role
  • Strategic leadership and organisational skills
  • High EQ with the charisma to motivate and collaborate with Principals and Teachers.
  • A self starter with strong ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive approach to work and relationships with others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • International experience, especially in Asia, is highly valued.
