Based in Hong Kong and reporting to AISL’s Director of Education, Sian Carr, the Director of Professional Learning (Harrow Academy) will be a critical member of an expanding education team.  Through The Harrow Academy, the appointee will establish a teaching, learning and leadership college in Asia that maintains the level of excellence expected of a Harrow education.  S/he will devise and implement an innovative blueprint for professional learning and work closely with Heads and colleagues in the education team to develop AISL as an educational organisation of choice for the very best teachers from around the globe.  

The successful candidate will bring a track record of successful leadership experience, strong organisational management skills and the strategic abilities to ensure a culture of professional learning is thoroughly embedded.  The personal authority and gravitas to inspire colleagues across the breadth of AISL are essential, as is a demonstrable commitment to continued professional development in themselves and others.
