Wac Arts is looking for a talented, innovative and passionate Director of Programmes to play a leading part in the future of Wac Arts and the young people who engage with its programmes.

Wac Arts aspiration is to lift generation after generation of young people empowering them with the life skills that only the arts can offer; with a commitment to those who face barriers to opportunity. Wac Arts offers fully inclusive programmes that celebrate diversity, with classes subsidised to make them accessible to all young people. Our programmes help young people build their skills for employment and personal development in and through digital media, music, theatre and dance. Wac Arts knows that creativity is the key to unlocking opportunities for young people.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and dynamic arts / cultural learning professional with the passion, knowledge and demonstrable commitment for inclusive arts education for young people. You will be responsible for both the artistic output and the skills and learning of the organisation in both formal and informal settings, with a commitment to the development of work with young people with disabilities

You will be a strategic leader who wants to work with and for young people of all backgrounds.
