We are one of the largest Further Education Colleges in the UK with more than 22,000 learners studying with us on a wide range of courses. Our mission is to equip people with the skills they need to be successful in education, in work and business and in their personal lives.
This is an exciting time for Leicester College. We have just been inspected and are awaiting publication of the report, so this is a great opportunity for a new Director of Quality Improvement to help shape the future direction of the College. We are looking for an outstanding person to build on strengths we already have to lead and drive further development in teaching, learning and assessment, and create and maintain a culture of continuous improvement with an unrelenting focus on high expectations, progress and achievement.
With strong influencing skills, you will quickly develop effective working partnerships with curriculum areas, leading a quality team which will focus on improving performance and quality still further, putting in place innovative solutions to support the achievement of College targets and objectives.
You will have strategic vision and drive, together a strong track record of success in leading and managing quality development and improvement within a further education environment, ideally with experience as the college nominee or as an inspector. As a resilient manager comfortable with change, your ability to deliver improvement and change is as important as your skills in planning and developing strategy.
