Required from September 2017
This post reflects the importance of rugby in the School's history, heritage and ethos and is designed to help our boys achieve ever higher standards and to develop a lifelong passion for the game.
The Director of Rugby Coaching will take responsibility for ensuring that boys in all year groups and of all abilities are provided with the highest standards of coaching and support. He or she will also help guide the strategic development of Sherborne rugby, ensuring that it remains at the heart of the School's co-curricular programme.
The successful applicant will be an ambitious, enthusiastic, experienced and well-qualified rugby coach. He or she may come from a sporting or teaching background, or a combination of the two. The ability to teach a reduced timetable in a particular academic discipline may be an advantage but is by no means essential.
