The Governing body are seeking to appoint a passionate Director of Science  to oversee an outstanding Faculty.  The starting date for this position is January 2021.

King’s is an non-selective, free independent school  which was founded on traditional values and international research. The school is highly regarded and significantly oversubscribed.  In the 2019  national performance tables, King's was ranked in the top 2% of schools in the North West.

The Science Faculty is forward thinking and has established a scholarly community, where innovative teachers develop talented students.  For the successful candidate this is a rare opportunity to join the senior team and shape the school's future success. The curriculum is exciting and knowledge based, with students genuinely enjoying their Science lessons.  Faculty resources and schemes of work are of a very high standard, supporting teacher work-life balance through minimal marking and research informed pedagogy.

The closing date for applications is midday on Tuesday 20th October. Short listing will take place that afternoon and you will be notified  on this day. Interviews will be held on Thursday 22nd October.
