The Buckingham Partnership, based in a purpose-built SCITT Centre at the Royal Latin School, is looking for a skilled and experienced Director of Partnership. This is an exciting opportunity to build on the Partnership’s excellent foundation (established in 2013) and take it from “Good” to “Outstanding”. Ofsted reported that “the Partnership is maturing rapidly and gaining a well-deserved reputation for producing well-prepared NQTs who meet local needs” (December 2015).
We are looking for a candidate with:
- an excellent track record and understanding of School Based Initial Teacher Training and experience of leadership at this level
- a detailed understanding of the ITT Criteria, admissions procedures and requirements, Quality Assurance processes and appropriate training support
- a detailed understanding of Initial Teacher Training Curriculums, Data Analysis and Newly Qualified Teacher support
- the ability to work effectively with a range of trainees and professional colleagues
The role will have a specific overview of the Partnership’s ITE Provision and wider responsibilities with our 47 Partnership Schools.
