We are recruiting for a Director of Sport at Swanbourne House.
Swanbourne House is a friendly, family orientated preparatory school with strong boarding, positioned in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside. We prepare our children for entry into leading independent senior schools including Oundle, Uppingham, Rugby, Stowe, Marlborough, Berkhamsted, Harrow and Bedford in recent years.
We are seeking an outstanding, enthusiastic and inspiring PE specialist to lead, develop and direct the curricular and extra-curricular life of our thriving and high-achieving Sports Department. The successful candidate is likely to have expertise in a number of core team sports and a proven record of achievement in inspiring pupils, staff and teams to achieve success beyond expectations. The Department plays a very significant part in school life providing PE and Games sessions from Reception to Year 8, and organising a very busy fixture list of matches against other schools involving Rugby, Hockey, Netball, Football, Rounders, Cricket, Swimming, Athletics, Tennis, Cross-Country and Basketball.

Terms of Service:
a. Start Date. 1st September 2018 or 1st January 2019.
b. Salary. The School has its own salary scale which exceeds national scales. The salary will recognise the candidate’s experience; therefore applicants are asked to give details of their current remuneration package on their application form.
c. Contract Type: Full Time.
d. Contract Term: Permanent.
