The Urswick School is an oversubscribed 11-19 Secondary School in the centre of Hackney.

This is an exciting new post on the school’s Extended Leadership Team. The successful candidate will have a proven record as a Head of PE who is now ready to take a wider responsibility for the physical and mental well -being of our students and staff.

The school has high levels of disadvantage and is looking to secure better health and well-being outcomes for our community as part of a programme for Covid recovery.

You will also be an excellent teacher of PE who in collaboration with other post holders can secure greater levels of participation and improve exam outcomes.

We are a Church of England Secondary School with a diverse student intake and a staff team which reflects this diversity.
