Rossall School is a thriving HMC boarding and day school with a broad international outlook and a stunning campus overlooking the sea.

We wish to appoint a Director of Sport from January 2018. The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher or coach and will be ambitious and inspirational in developing sport at Rossall. 

The Director of Sport will help to develop a clear vision and strategic plan for the development of sport at Rossall. An understanding of how to set up and establish sustainable systematic coaching systems which develop sport and elite sporting performance across the age range, from the Prep through to the Senior School at Rossall will be essential. A knowledge of how to recruit well qualified coaching staff and attract young sportsmen and women to the school will also be required, as will the ability to be an ambassador for Rossall sport in all areas of its promotion and to work effectively with the Marketing Department.

The successful candidate will have the experience and ability to lead and inspire all members of the department, with a dynamic personality and outstanding personal and team-working skills.
