Full-time, for Summer Term 2018

We want an innovative and energetic person to lead the department and develop sport at the School (across both Prep & Senior). The successful candidate will have energy, high standards, dynamism, excellent communication skills, and a record of high quality teaching/coaching at different age groups. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead and to communicate a vision for sport in schools. Sport is a vital component of the education at Warminster School and has improved here enormously in recent years. We want that to continue.  This position offers a fine opportunity for a charismatic and ambitious person and would be ideal for someone looking for their first significant leadership appointment. Warminster School is committed to the development of its staff and runs its own Middle and Senior Leadership Development programmes. Experience of teaching GCSE & A Level PE would be an advantage.

The person appointed will also be expected to contribute fully to the academic, pastoral and wider co-curricular life of the School.

Warminster has its own salary scale, above national scales, and other staff benefits, including significant fee reductions for staff children. There is also on-site family accommodation available as part of the package.
