They will be committed to sustainable excellence and will develop and deliver a highly effective improvement model for our schools and trust. This is a new post, created to add capacity as we enter a new phase of development. We are seeking an inspirational candidate who has a genuine interest in the substance of education, alongside a track record of high performance and system leadership.

The Trust consists of four secondary schools, seven primary/infant schools and one associate primary school in South Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire. We are looking to appoint a leader who has had experience of senior leadership in schools and is able to demonstrate proven impact in leading school improvement strategies. The successful candidate will have experience in managing and working in a large and complex organisation and in a multi-school context. They will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work independently whilst, at the same time, be able to form effective relationships with school staff, trust staff, governors and trustees. We are committed to a collaborative approach across our schools and trust.

This role is for a September 2024 start, however, we'd welcome a conversation with any successful candidate about an earlier start if this were possible.

This role has been created as a result of the expansion of the trust central team and it presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of education in our schools and whole trust strategy. It will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to have a key leadership role in a multi academy trust.

The Trust strives for ‘Excellence for All’ through six principles that are non-negotiable:

The Excellence Principle – Education must be of the very highest standard.

The Comprehensive Principle – Education must be for children and young people of all abilities.

The Broad Education Principle – Education must incorporate a broad range of subject areas and personal development.

The Community Principle – Every Academy must be at the heart of its local community and serve it well.

The Partnership Principle – Each Academy must seek to work positively in partnership with others for mutual benefit.

The International Principle – The curriculum inside and outside the classroom must have a clear international dimension.
