 Due to the retirement of the current post holder, we are looking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Director of Student Experience to join our high-performing College Leadership Team.  The successful candidate will embrace the college’s vison of becoming exceptional and will lead the evolution of our outstanding ‘student experience department’ to realise this vision.

  

 The Director will have oversight of: Careers Education, Tutoring, Student Experience, Enrichment, Student Welfare and Safeguarding within the College.  The specific, direct line management oversight will be determined by the by successful candidate’s prior experience and areas of expertise.

  

 The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of leading an outstanding student support provision, ideally from within a tertiary or further education college environment. The post holder will contribute to the shaping of the college’s response to the new Ofsted Education Inspection Framework and Gatsby Benchmarks. The ideal candidate will operate as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the College and will provide direction on matters of Child Protection and Safeguarding including the Prevent Strategy and British Values and the College’s modest, student boarding accommodation. 

  

 You will be creative, inspirational and dedicated to providing the very best learning experiences for our students.  You will be passionate about student progression and the particular skills and opportunities young people need to progress to aspirational university destinations, further training and employment. You will have demonstrable effective leadership and management experience within further education, including successful navigation of curriculum reform opportunities, and be able to contribute to our outstanding College.
