Director of Studies

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Studies to join our team of dynamic educators.

The Director of Studies will play a key role in shaping the educational direction of our school, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, student-centred learning.

About The Role and You

Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: Commensurate on experience

Start Date: September 2024

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Advising the Headteacher on curriculum needs and developments.
• Advise students on option choices for GCSE and A Level.
• Being responsible for the quality of teaching and learning across the school.
• Line manage Heads of Faculty in devising support strategies for students whose academic progress is of concern.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching up to A Level.
• Evidence of high pupil achievement from teaching.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
