As the Director of Teacher Development, you will be responsible for leading all of our current Teacher Development programmes and overseeing the development of new programmes. This includes our current Training Programme, which has 3000 active trainees progressing through Qualified Teacher Status and a Postgraduate Diploma. You will lead the development and launch of new programmes such as our Early Career Framework. You’ll be responsible for a department of around 19 employees. You will spend time working with colleagues across our organisation to make sure our trainees and programme members get the best experience and are set up help us build a fair education for all. Your work will involve representing us externally on advisory boards with the Department of Education and Ofsted. Managing relationships and partnerships with senior stakeholders is schools, universities and other organisations will also be part of your role.
