The Executive Head now seeks an ambitious and committed Director of Teaching and Learning to play a leading role in the next phase of development at Sherfield.  The postholder will assist the Executive Head as an integral member of the senior leadership team in maintaining the highest standards of care and educational provision for the pupils as well as playing an integral role in developing and implementing the school’s vision.  

The successful candidate will be an ambitious, forward-thinking educational leader, committed to the all-round education of girls and boys in a busy boarding and day environment.  A passion for exciting and effective teaching and learning, modern pastoral care and a commitment to the co-curriculum, are vital.  This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the ongoing growth and development of Sherfield as the school continues to flourish.  Applications are encouraged from successful middle and senior leaders from a range of backgrounds, who have a passion for learning and teaching and are ready to make a lasting impact upon this school community.
