Domestic Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Gloucestershire’s leading independent co-educational day & flexi boarding schools for children aged 3 to 13.

As Domestic Manager, the successful candidate will lead the delivery of day-to-day catering, cleaning, matrons and nursing services and will also be responsible for ensuring school functions and events are managed effectively. 

Responsibilities also include organisation of minor refurbishment projects to ensure decoration and furnishing is kept to a high standard throughout the School, and management of lettings using the School’s facilities.

The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with members of staff throughout the School, including teaching and support, as well as with external clients and contractors. He/she must be prepared to be flexible both in the requirements of this newly established role and in the working hours to meet the needs of service users.

In return we offer a competitive salary dependant on qualifications and experience. The candidate must be willing to work flexibly as hours may vary to include some weekend and evening work.
