ROLE SUMMARY:

Inspired Education Group, through its International School of Europe network, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated IB Diploma Programme (DP) Coordinator to support and lead the delivery of the IB Diploma Programme across one of its IB World Schools in Italy, starting August 2026.

The DP Coordinator will play a key leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning and assessment within the IB Diploma Programme, working closely with senior leadership, subject leaders and teaching staff. This role is ideal for an experienced IB practitioner with strong organisational skills, a collaborative leadership style and a passion for high-quality international education.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide academic and operational leadership for the IB Diploma Programme

  • Ensure full compliance with IB standards, practices and requirements, including programme documentation and evaluation processes

  • Support, mentor and quality-assure DP teaching staff to drive consistently strong student outcomes

  • Coordinate DP assessment, reporting, internal standardisation and external examination processes

  • Lead curriculum planning, subject offerings and timetable coordination for the DP

  • Support student guidance processes, including subject choices and academic monitoring

  • Work closely with senior leaders to align DP provision with whole-school priorities

  • Liaise with the IB Organisation and oversee all DP-related administration

  • Promote the IB Learner Profile and a culture of academic excellence and wellbeing

  • Contribute to whole-school leadership initiatives as required

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Essential:

  • Degree in a relevant subject and a recognised teaching qualification

  • Significant experience teaching within the IB Diploma Programme

  • Previous experience as a DP Coordinator, Assistant DP Coordinator, or IB leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of IB curriculum frameworks, assessment and evaluation processes

  • Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to lead, support and inspire staff within a collaborative school environment

Preferred:

  • Experience in an international or multicultural school setting

  • Experience working within a group or network of schools
