Job overview

As part of an ongoing drive to ensure learners receive outstanding GCSE maths provision, Solihull College and University Centre is seeking hourly paid teachers to deliver GCSE qualifications to Full-Time 16-19 students, with opportunities to teach Part-Time adults.

The successful candidate(s) will join a specialist team focusing upon providing consistently excellent GCSE provision to learners of all ages.

We are looking for someone who will work alongside the Maths Team in:

Providing innovative, outstanding, and engaging teaching, learning and assessment of Maths

Ensuring progress of all learners from starting points, high quality assessment, feedback and attainment

Delivery will be across our Blossomfield and Woodlands Campus in the first instance and having the flexibility to move between campuses is desirable. We currently have opportunities to teach Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

You must hold a Level 3 qualification in Maths or higher and ideally possess a Level 5 teaching qualification (or higher) or be prepared to work towards a relevant qualification.
