About Henbury School
Henbury School first opened in1956 as one of the first purpose built comprehensives in the country. Fifty years later, the school is the first in Bristol to have been completely rebuilt under a ‘PFI’ contract. outstanding shared leisure facilities, including dance studio, fitness suite and swimming pool.
Henbury is situated on a large and very attractive site on the north west outskirts of the City of Bristol, near the Blaise Castle estate. It serves the communities of Henbury, Brentry, Westbury on Trym, Lawrence Weston and Southmead, which gives the school a very broad intake.
