The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Are you passionate about drama and about how to engage young people so they achieve their very best? Do you enjoy working with others to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning in drama?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or one new to the profession to join our highly committed, supportive and experienced drama department. Our Drama department is well resourced, with a large studio and two specialist drama rooms as well as a main hall with stage and lighting and sound equipment. All of our teaching staff are provided with their own laptop.

Our oversubscribed school again achieved a ‘GOOD’ rating in its Ofsted inspection in June 2022 and we have a commitment to supporting students in developing as well-rounded individuals as well as achieving their academic potential.

Great Baddow High School is very well thought of locally. Our motto, which translates as ‘always striving for higher things’ encapsulates our vision for our students and staff.

Sixth formers enjoy their own common room, café and study areas.
