Job overview

We seek an experienced and dynamic individual to teach Drama throughout the School whilst our current Drama Teacher is on maternity leave. 

Starting in September 2017, this role will involve teaching across all age groups from 11-18 including GCSE and A Level classes. An ability and willingness to organise school productions is vital.  

Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS and Child protection screening including checks with past employers. We are an equal opportunities employer.

Wellington School is a Church of England denominational, co-educational, day and boarding school in Somerset. As of the most recent inspection, there were 900 pupils on the school roll. The school’s motto is the opening of Psalm 127; ‘If God Be Not With Us, Our Labour is in Vain’. The Senior School teaches pupils between the ages of 11-18. The school also offers preparatory facilities from the ages of 3 onwards. Founded in 1837 as a boys school, Wellington has been fully independent and co-educational since 1978. The 35 acre site is a combination of traditional and more recent architecture. The school operates in both a boarding and day capacity.
